I had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with with David Lavernia last week during Farmfest. This was our first event at the Buddha Farm, in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During the event David was live painting a Buddha in the outside courtyard wall. It turned out awesome. Here’s a little interview to learn more about David.
Q: Where are you from?
A: Miami, FL
Q: How old are you?
A: 31 years old
Q:What do you do for a living?
A: I Paint and I inspire!
Q: What inspires you?
A: People inspire me the most, so in return I can inspire them. I do this by connecting them to my art. It keeps me going when my art inspires people.
Q: What mediums do you use?
A: Spray Paint, Ink, Acrylic, Pen
Q: who is your favorite Painter?
A: Many different modern street artist such as Nychos and PichiAvo.
Q: Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer, why?
A: More of a hunter for sure! Every time I arrive to a new city or if I am traveling I scope out walls and imagine my art on all of them. Everyday I do this.
Q: You are a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
A: Aquamarine, because I love the sea and I love this color within everything.
