Time to get funky! This is the holiday where you can put your imagination and crafty skills to work. Test your “do it yourself” potential and have a blast putting your costume together. It definitely says a lot more when you’ve made your own unique outfit, compared to purchasing one from a general Halloween store. Most costumes are redundant anyways, and we ALL have those wild clothing articles and accessories that we would never wear on a daily basis- but could mix & match to create something fun and memorable. Showing off your own spooky style gives you a sense of uniqueness and satisfaction- knowing all of the energy you put into your costume was well worth the outcome. Allow the process to be fun and expressive, enjoy the holiday even before the parties get started! : )
